Auto Accessories Guy – UX, UI, and Full-Stack Web Development

Auto Accessories Guy is a custom-built eCommerce website designed for a niche audience of 4×4 and off-road enthusiasts. As the sole designer and developer, I led the project from strategy through execution — delivering everything from the user experience architecture to frontend code and deployment infrastructure.

This project aims to combine bold branding with a streamlined shopping experience, catering to a market where clear product hierarchy, trust-building design, and fast performance directly influence conversion rates.

UX + UI Design

The project began with detailed user research to understand buying behavior in the 4×4 accessories space. I created journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that prioritized ease of navigation and product discovery.

Using Figma, I developed a responsive design system with:

  • A bold, masculine visual style reflecting the target market
  • Scalable UI components and consistent design tokens
  • Conversion-focused product pages and clear CTAs
  • Mobile-optimized layouts to support on-the-go browsing

Frontend Development

The site is being developed with a modern, component-based frontend stack (e.g. react.js, Tailwind CSS) to ensure performance, responsiveness, and scalability. Development best practices include:

  • Semantic HTML and accessibility-first markup
  • Lazy loading, image optimization, and minimal render-blocking assets
  • Clean Git-based workflow with feature branches and continuous commits

Hosting & Deployment

I manage all deployment and hosting infrastructure:

  • Hostingster (or equivalent modern host) for blazing-fast CDN-level edge delivery
  • Continuous integration pipeline for testing and production preview
  • SEO optimization baked into the build process, including metadata, structured data, and performance tuning
  • Site is also monitored for uptime, speed, and mobile Core Web Vitals

Strategic Role

This project also serves as a testbed for scalable eCommerce frameworks I’m developing, with reusable architecture for future builds. The goal is to maintain design and performance consistency across a potential suite of brand or product microsites.
